Elegance

The word Syntax comes from the Latin word "syntaxis", which in turn derives from a Greek word that is translated into English as " to coordinate". It is the branch of grammar that provides guidelines created for how to unite and relate words to elaborate sentences and express concepts consistently.

Any translator translates, only the Sophos Linguae team translates so that reading the translation is more pleasant than reading the original.

Most people think that translation involves replacing words in one language with words in another. Obviously there's more to language than just words. At Elegant Translations we are committed to producing text that is both accurate and elegant. Everything else being equal, if your text is easier to read than your competitor's, the client will choose your product or service.

Specifically, the elegance of a language resides in its structure, that is, in its syntax. Therefore, elegance in a text comes from translating syntax, and that's what we do best at Elegant Translations. A person reading one of our translations does not waste mental energy wading through tangled syntax.

We know that a text is a vehicle for meaning, which means that, in addition to being sturdy, it should not interfere with the meaning it carries. Thus, our texts are transparent, light and pleasant to read, that is, they are elegant.
