Methodology

At Sophos Linguae, we have set up a working methodology that allows us to guarantee the outcomes.

Herebelow, the 4 stages of any translation, localization or sub-titling project when you entrust your work to us:

Understanding of the subject

  • One of us is in charge of your file and will be your only contact for the duration of the project.

  • The Project Leader sets up a workshop with you to understand your specific requirements:

    • Number of words;

    • Institutional or operational translation;

    • Delivery Format;

    • Deadlines and constraints;

    • All relevant information about your company and its field of work.

Following this workshop, he analyzes in detail your needs, the field and the level of difficulty of the text and he sends you a business proposal that takes account all these criteria.

Estimate

The estimate of your project indicates the deadline, the final support and the necessary tasks to perform (proof-reading, validation of final support, etc.).

He validates with you on the phone the good understanding of the estimate on your part.

Production

Upon obtaining your agreement, he sends you a contract and upon signature of the contract, the project can start.

He collects the terminology, glossary, translation memories or documents already translated in your company to ensure the editorial and terminological consistency of your document.

He makes sure that your document does not contain truncated or incomplete texts.

He sends you the questions or requests for clarification he may have to ensure you the best quality in the imparted time.

He revises and finalizes the translation, sends it to you.

Validation

Once completed and sent, he schedules a telephone call with you to make sure of your total satisfaction with his work. He takes into account your opinions and wishes and makes the required changes, then he returns you the document as soon as possible.

In the case of additional text to translate, he sends you a new estimate.
